Paris will be making an appearance on the Tyra Banks show tomorrow (Monday, October 13) to discuss her new show, her up-coming CD, among other things. :)

Paris's New CD Features "Tongue-in-Cheek" Songs

Paris has already said that her newest CD is complete and that it will be out very soon.

The upcoming LP, supposedly scheduled for release later this month, will be released on Paris's own label, Heiress Records.

“I was really inspired by Kylie Minogue. I love her; I just love that European dance vibe. The last album was completely hip-hop and this is completely different.”

Her sophomore CD will feature “tongue-in-cheek” songs all written by Paris, including ‘Paris For President’ and ‘Platinum Blonde’, as well as ‘Jailhouse Baby’ – which pokes fun at the time Paris spent in jail in 2007 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

"Fairy Dust" Promotional Ad

For her fifth perfume, called Fairy Dust, Paris dolls up in true Tinkerbell fashion, complete with pixie wand!

The promotional ad features Paris, and sports a playful tagline: "Do you believe in fairy tales?"

Fairy Dust has a top note of sparkling Prosecco accord, pink peony and orange blossom, with a heart of spring gardenia, peach nectar and water lily. The drydown includes sueded patchouli, cashmere musk and vanilla cream.
“The scent is magical! It’s delicate in the morning, sensual during the day and seductive in the evening. When I wear Fairy Dust, I feel as whimsical and free as a dazzling fairy," says Paris.

The perfume will be available in the US from October, and can be purchased as an Eau de Parfum (in either 1.7 oz. or 3.4 oz.) and as a body lotion.

Fairy Dust is scheduled for an international launch in 2009.

Paris Debuts New Single, "My BFF"

Paris Hilton's new single doubles as the theme song for her new reality show, "My New BFF", which airs on MTV every Tuesday at 10pm. 

The single, titled "My BFF", is co-written by Paris and her boyfriend of Good Charlotte fame, Benji Madden. 

The song debuted on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on KIIS FM, where Paris took the time to tell him a little more about her newly finished sophomore CD, stating that it is a "very personal album."

“I just finished my album a couple of days ago. I was really inspired by Kylie Minogue. I wrote every song on the record. My last album was very hip-hop. This is completely different.”

Of the single itself, Paris says, “This song I just wrote about best friends. I think anyone can relate to the song. … It’s a really happy song.”

Paris plans to release the CD on her own independent label, Heiress Records, however a title and release date have not yet been confirmed.
